Meals at The Sunflowers by the Sea
Prepare to be indulged!
The meals at The Sunflowers by the Sea are designed and prepared by Willemina Flowers, the former assistant chef at Restaurant Le Clocher near Ottawa, Ontario. Willemina also ran her own business "All Occasion Cakes and Chocolates" and quickly developed a reputation for her "edible sculptures". Building on a secret family recipe her carrot cake has become internationally famous!
Fresh cooked daily breakfast specials will include delicious dishes such as pancakes with fruit (wild blueberries or fresh strawberries in season), omelettes, eggs any style, fresh baked biscuits or croissants, orange juice and hot chocolate, tea or unlimited coffee. Breakfast is served from 7-9am weekdays and 7-10am on weekends, except by previous arrangement.
Gourmet box lunches can be ordered by our guests for your picnic on the beach, a day trip to see the sites or to take with you as you continue your journey.
Dinners are also available on request from a fixed daily menu (no ala carte). Ask us what special meal is being prepared that day!
Of course, being right on the coast there is delicious, fresh caught seafood available nearby. We will be happy to share the name our favorite local seafood restaurant with you. Only minutes away, you can either eat there or get takeout to bring back and enjoy on our deck as the sun goes down.
